About the Blog

I use this blog to document my various projects, be them sewing, crochet, baking, cooking or home repair. I don’t consider myself all that crafty or creative, but I’m not afraid to take a whack at learning a new skill. You can learn how to do just about anything by watching a YouTube video. So tune in to see my latest crochet creations, new recipe results, and DIY experiments. I’m definitely not an expert, and some attempts don’t turn out exactly as expected, but it’s about the journey, not the destination, right?  

About Myself

I am from Red Wing, Minnesota, where I live with my husband, two kids, a cat and a dog, all in an 1100 square foot house built in 1922 that is in constant need of repair or renovation (and a good cleaning.) I also work a full time job. In my “spare” time I crochet and check Facebook on my iPhone while I watch too much bad TV.
