Nursery part deux
So this isn’t one of my normal how to posts, but I am proud of how the nursery turned out and want to share. I originally decorated the room before Liam was born and before I started this blog. It contains some of my very first sewing projects, including the shades and the rocking chair cushion. I couldn’t duplicate that one if I tried. I’m still not sure how I got it to work.
Knowing we only have two bedrooms I had planned all along to make Liam’s room gender neutral so a possible future sister could share it. Somehow it ended up two shades of blue. I can’r explain what happened there. Oh well, I know plenty of girls who like blue and the woodland creature theme works for anyone, right?
Anyway, here are some before and after pics of how I managed to go from one to two kids in our tiny spare room. I think it is about 13 x 8 feet, but it does have a nice big closet, so that helps. I do still need to move the mobile over the crib, for now I hung it in its original spot, but it’s a bit silly to have it over the dresser…
